LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS
Set in the mid-XXth century in Seattle, where the term “skid row” reportedly originated, this design was rooted in the street-urchin aesthetic with suggestions of period colors and styles. The part of Audrey II was sung by a female performer who appeared onstage in a spotlight, separate from the main action, yet having the ability to connect with Seymour as well as the audience.
